Ahhh Memorial Day Weekend is finally upon us....The official kick off to Summer and what a better way to introduce the upcoming season than to lighten up the wardrobe and introduce the color white back into your closet. They say you shouldn't wear white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day and granted I'm not into following rules (I believe you should wear what you want as long as you feel NOT good but GREAT in it), but I must admit that I am loving the White Hot trend that is completely appropriate for the season. Although White can be intimidating to wear DO NOT fret, There are lots of different ways to wear it. Gone are the days that white was meant only for the tall and skinny. Be creative layer a white tank with a white button down and white skinny jeans....make it pop with a pair tan colored wedges or add a hint of color such as a bright lip or nails. Have fun with it and don't think about it too much. So to kick off the weekend here are some of my favorite looks and inspirations for this clean and refreshing trend.
