So Spring is finally here, although it barely feels like it, with such crazy weather all throughout California. With Spring comes an additional hour of daylight, flowers in bloom, Easter and all its colorful crunchy egg shaped candies, and of course fashion and makeup gets a lot more brighter and cheerful than its Fall counterpart. One of the Spring 2011 trends that is really hot right now is color blocking, which is a combination of saturated colors to form a fun and chic way to dress for the Spring. Many designers for the Spring 2011 runway shows featured this trend. From Gucci, Prada, Jil Sander and even Burberry, many designers didn't hold back on having fun with color. I'm especially in love with the peach/coral combo featured in the Loewe Spring 2011 show and the red/brown combination in the Lanvin show.
